Biography

Colin Braun is one of the sport's leading racing drivers, having raced for many high-profile teams and in many top-level series on both sides of the Atlantic.

As a four-time Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona winner, Colin has carved his way around racetracks from the US to Asia and many places in between. He can also count among his successes numerous wins at the standout IMSA events Sebring 12 Hours, Watkins Glen 6 Hours and Petit Le Mans.

Colin’s passion for racing began at an early age growing up in a racing family in his home town in Texas. At just 16 Colin made his road racing debut at the Rolex 24. The following year he became the youngest driver to race in the top-tier prototype class at just 17. In 2006 Colin was the youngest driver at the time to score a podium finish at the Le Mans 24 Hours, finishing second.

Colin has also raced successfully in many other different disciplines of motorsport including NASCAR, where he scored multiple NASCAR Nationwide Series pole positions. He is also a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race winner and has won multiple pole awards and was named Rookie of the Year. In 2024 Colin made his IndyCar debut with Dale Coyne Racing.

Most recently Colin has been racing in the GT World Challenge America, winning the 2023 GT World Challenge America Pro-Am Championship, the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and the Asian Le Mans Series with Crowdstrike Racing, winning the 2023/2024 Asian Le Mans Series Championship.
