Trent Hindman is an American racing driver, best known for racing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge.
Trent has become one of the quickest and most reliable racing drivers on the American racing scene having clinched the IMSA GTD Championship in 2019, following that with the IMSA Endurance Cup GTD Championship win in 2021. In 2022, Trent was crowned IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge GS Champion. In 2024 Trent was crowned Vice Champion. Trent has also been active in the Fanatec GT World Challenge America series, racing a Porsche 992 GT3 R, and started the 2024 season off well with two victories at Sebring. In 2025 he will contest the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship as part of the Wayne Taylor Racing team.
Like most young racing drivers, Trent’s career began in karting when he was just eight years old, racing successfully before moving to car racing. In 2015, Trent was selected by BMW Motorsport for their junior programme, and he has also raced under the Acura and Porsche banners.
